CitySpaceAstro is Martin Bracken, a retired teacher residing in the city of Chelmsford, UK. His love of astronomy began as a young boy when he purchased his first pair of binoculars to peer at the starry skies. In 2013, Martin entered into the hobby of astrophotography, capturing images of galaxies, nebulae, and planets from the comfort of his back garden.

 His work has been featured in publications such as Sky at Night, Astronomy Now, Astronomy, Sky & Telescope, and The Federation of Astronomical Societies Newsletter. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society. Martín is also an active committee member of the North Essex Astronomical Society, and a STEM ambassador often engaging in outreach with local schools and organisations to inspire other to get involved in Astronomy. packages and web page editors
